No. Epox is platform-agnostic. You can upload product photos manually, generate assets, and download them to use on any storefront — Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or custom builds. A native Shopify app for one-click install and automatic asset sync is launching shortly.

Is Epox free to try?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Epox has a free account with 600 credits / day, no credit card required. That's enough to try the recipes on a few products — about 6 draft images a day. It's not enough for video, or for running a catalog. For real production, pick a paid tier.

What types of products work best with Epox?

Any physical product with a clear primary subject. We have active customers in rugs, furniture, and home goods. The platform also handles jewelry, fashion, beauty, consumer goods, and lighting equally well. Templates can be tuned for any visual category.

How long does a batch take?

Most batches finish in minutes, not hours. Speed depends on output resolution and complexity — draft 2K images run at 5–60 per minute depending on your plan tier.

Can I keep my best existing photos and only fix the inconsistent ones?

Yes. Epox works alongside your existing assets, not as a wholesale replacement. Upload only the products that need standardizing or fresh lifestyle scenes.

Does Epox replace photographers entirely?

No, and we don't recommend it. Epox handles the production scale and consistency problem — generating variants, standardizing supplier files, producing lifestyle scenes at catalog scale. Brands still hire photographers for hero campaigns, founder shoots, and tactile category launches where physical capture matters.

Each tier comes with a monthly credit allotment. Different actions cost different amounts — a draft image is cheaper than a 4K Pro scene or a video.
